Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
“
Authorities in California have arrested a San Bernardino woman who was allegedly pushing a 30-gallon garbage can full of dismembered human body parts down a suburban street Sunday.”
“I can’t comment on the condition of the body because I am not sure of the exact extent of the injuries. I do know that it was dismembered [and] it appears to be a homicide,” Detective Jeff Crittenden of the City of Ontario Police Department.”
I can probably comment on the condition of the body. It just wasn’t in good condition at all.
“Carmen Montenegro, 51, was caught with the wheeled container full of human remains Sunday afternoon, after several concerned neighbors contacted police and reported “either seeing the body [parts] or … smelling [them],” Crittenden said.”
I would take down this MF-er with a well placed bottle of cocktail sauce! I bet he would have been delicious.
“This newly-discovered, prehistoric shellfish gives whole new meaning to the term jumbo shrimp.”
“Yale researchers announced they discovered in southeastern Morocco the fossilized remains of a giant, killer shrimp with three-feet long tentacles on its head.”
“During the Ordovician period — about 488 to 472 million years ago — the spiny precursor to modern crustaceans known as anomalocaridids dominated the seas, National Geographic reported.”
This video gives me nightmares. You’re NOT my grandma!
“A Spokane woman out for a day hike along the Spokane river claims to have proof of the mysterious and elusive Bigfoot.”
“Samantha, who did not give her last name, and her friends were hiking at Downriver Park over the weekend when they captured Bigfoot by using their iPhone camera.”
“Samantha posted a YouTube video of the creature a few days later.”
“In her post, Samantha said she didn’t notice Bigfoot until she looked at her video when she got home.”

“Apparently the son and mother agreed to go to church for prayers. They got to church and found out that the door was locked.
“They were desperate to spend the night with the Lord, so they forced open a window and entered through that.”
My advice to them would have been, go see Bridemaids, it’s a great movie. But they didn’t ask me so they…
“Shortly after entering the window, they started praying, jingling the bell as they presented their request to God. Then suddenly, a strange spirit possessed the son; he pounced on his mother and hacked her to death.”

Not to be outdone by the American Bigfoot and his latest dance into the public consciousness…the Australian Bigfoot, more commonly known as the Yowie has decided to show himself to a man named Dean. Follow the link to read the story.
Bigfoot possibly filmed in Ketchikan, Alaska. “The latest alleged Bigfoot sighting places the fabled ape-like creature alongside a logging road near Ketchikan, Alaska. YouTube user putua76 provided video evidence in a May 10 post, along with seemingly genuine commentary.” “My heart’s pounding a million miles an hour,” the videographer exclaims, after capturing a fleeting glimpse of a large, grayish-looking beast walking swiftly through the forest.” “But as the Alaska Dispatch astutely points out, “The creature is hard to see, hidden behind trees and partially or totally obscured, giving just enough evidence for the skeptics to dispute and just enough for the believers to support.”

Two headed calf born in China.
This is the second “two-headed something” story in as many weeks. If I were living in China and I saw this I would consider drinking bottled water.
“The rare genetic mutation known as axial bifurcation (having two heads) can affect both animals and people. Although a developmental flaw often seen in reptiles and turtles, Mother Nature whacks her way into other species, including cows and human beings. In China, for the second documented time in four years, a two-headed cow has been born, causing a grandmother to pass out when she first laid eyes on the newborn calf.”
The old woman passing out actually had nothing to do with the calf. She had just polished off a bottle of Maotai liquor and just wanted to rest her eyes.

“ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates — Late one night last November, a plane carrying dozens of Colombian men touched down in this glittering seaside capital. Whisked through customs by an Emirati intelligence officer, the group boarded an unmarked bus and drove roughly 20 miles to a windswept military complex in the desert sand.”
“The Colombians had entered the United Arab Emirates posing as construction workers. In fact, they were soldiers for a secret American-led mercenary army being built by Erik Prince, the billionaire founder ofBlackwater Worldwide, with $529 million from the oil-soaked sheikdom.”
“Mr. Prince, who resettled here last year after his security business faced mounting legal problems in the United States, was hired by the crown prince of Abu Dhabi to put together an 800-member battalion of foreign troops for the U.A.E., according to former employees on the project, American officials and corporate documents obtained by The New York Times.” “The force is intended to conduct special operations missions inside and outside the country, defend oil pipelines and skyscrapers from terrorist attacks and put down internal revolts, the documents show. Such troops could be deployed if the Emirates faced unrest in their crowded labor camps or were challenged by pro-democracy protests like those sweeping the Arab world this year.” I don’t know which scares me more government run armies, or armies run by private individuals and businesses. It’s pretty amazing that Erik Prince is able to put together these huge deadly fighting forces. (and a little terrifying) Apparently I need to work on my organizational skills. If I tried to put together a fighting force it would consist of two guys I went to high school with and my neighbor Randy.
